FSACCI NEWSLETTER - #2018-1
“Happiness in Business”, that’s what the French South African Chamber - its team and board - wished you for the new year. This is also an objective we will try to achieve this year with you.
In this regard, we are delighted to announce the launch of the 1st edition of the FSACCI Gala Awards to be held at our traditional annual gala which will take place on Tuesday, 15 March. This event will be an opportunity to highlight French Business in South Africa and to encourage French and South African entrepreneurial spirit, development and synergies. I encourage you to apply, as from 6 February, in one of the four categories, opened to all FSACCI members: “Young Entrepreneur” (comprising two sub-categories, i.e. “French Young Entrepreneur” and “South-African Young Entrepreneur”), “Best Business Collaboration France-South Africa”), “Most Inspiring Manager” and, last but not least “Most Inspiring Company (Coup de Coeur)”. Best of luck and success to the candidates! We look forward to announcing the winners during the Gala Dinner to be held on 15 March. You are, of course, very welcome to sponsor prizes for the winners.
The FSACCI Team is hard at work organising the Gala evening. The event should allow for some interesting networking opportunities. We’ll certainly have a pleasant time and I am told that there will be a few surprises. I have no doubt that, thanks to your support, this event will be a great success.
I also take this opportunity to welcome our new members: Ingerop and LexAfrica (Platinum members), Safran Helicopters (Gold member) and Comhan, Edap TMS, Mentally Fit, Pater Noster Group and Sizanani Mentorship (Silver members). It is always a pleasure to see our network growing.
Best wishes for 2018 and see you at the Gala Awards!
